Gospodarska škola Čakovec was founded 18. March 1994. year. At school, students are educated in the following sectors: Agriculture, food and veterinary (The agricultural technician, The gardener, The florist), Transport and Logistics (Technician for logistics and freight forwarding, The technician road transport, The driver of a motor vehicle ), Textiles & Leather (The tailor, The cobbler ) and Personal, protection services and other services (Hairdresser, Beautician, Pedicurist and Sign painter ). The school educates over 600 students aged between 14 and 18 year and  employs about 80 professors. In school operates and student cooperative "Jabuka" which includes all of our students. Our students winning first place principally at national competitions of students in their professions. It also educates students with special needs. There is also the possibility of adult education in our school. The new school building its large space and excellent equipment at the well used. Its total net usable area of 2993 m2, of which the exterior of waste 356 m2. Classrooms occupy 1,300 m2, and they are: 10 general purpose classrooms, three smaller classrooms for classes of students with disabilities, 7 practicum and labs, a library, a makeshift greenhouse on the top floor of the school and 9 cabinets for teachers. Agricultural sciences practice takes place on the economy in Mihovljan, in a vineyard in Vučetincu and in laboratories and winemaking practicum in the school building. In the academic year 2008 / 2009th completed the above EU project. Upon completion of the project in the Business School obtained the protection Međimurje brands of wine PUŠIPEL.

In order to illustrate the activities that the students and their tutors conducted throughout the history of our school, it is enough to enumerate part of the activities undertaken in the school: Performance arranger at the international competition Baroque, flowers and music in Varazdin, at the event Eco-Ethno Croatia in Zagreb, own creations, costumes and making corsages participated in our cooperative members and their mentors, at the Days of Fashion and Beauty in Zagreb presented our students Tie collection as geometric motif, the fair MESAP - Beauty in Nedelisce organized a fashion show with collections Little Black Dress and Tie as a geometric shape. At the same fair were Zadrugarka competed in making wedding bouquet. At the end of the fair the cooperative creation of festive show and magazine hairstyles and modern techniques of cutting hair, members of the drama group perform at the festival LiDraNo... and many more.  Finally, it should be said that our school - her students and employees - from its founding through its activities very much in the public Međimurje County and beyond.
